Marmara Anatolium
Designed and developed by Yılsan in cooperation with Maya Group, its joint venture partner, the Anatolium Marmara project offers a mix of life concepts involving offices, home offices and malls. The project is located at Istanbul’s Kartal district.
Powered by the joint venture composed of MAYA Group, the consistent originator of innovative projects on one side, and YILSAN, marking the Turkish industry with its energy investments on other side, Anatolium Marmara is located just opposite the Kartal Court House on an area of app. 26,000 sqm. Accommodating 800 million visitors annually at its 366 stores deployed in 47 countries around the globe, IKEA has inaugurated its 3rd store in Istanbul, being also the 6th one in Turkey. The store is built on an area of 25,000 sqm.
As a sublime initiative from a technological point of view, the project has its new-generation offices and common spaces built with Class A design and construction materials. Across an approach that is highly sensitive to energy utilization, sustainable life sources and ecosystem, efforts are on the way, launched right after the design phase, to obtain the “Breeam Gold” green building certificate for Anatolium Marmara.
The master plan and concept design of the project was elaborated by DDG, a prominent USA-based company that has created high-class commercial buildings in Istanbul and around the globe. Honoured with a myriad of design awards so far, DDG has been active for more than 50 years and has an international reputation. Furthermore, the static engineering design was devised by Balkar Engineering Company led by İrfan Balıoğlu, the master behind the plurality of reliable iconic buildings in and outside Turkey for more than 40 years.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Sağlamer provided consultancy services on ground and foundation engineering. Design, architecture and project coordination phases were undertaken by Viva, an architecture company that has brilliantly completed many prominent projects so far. Moreover, the mechanical design was entrusted to Dinamik Proje, the originator of many financial and shopping mall projects in the market. As a company with an in-depth experience of more than 30 years, Dinamik introduced advanced technologies in commercial buildings and led green building efforts.
Last but not the least, Erk Proje, contributing to the launch of almost 250 projects since its foundation, undertook the electrical design for Anatolium Marmara in a strategy focussed on energy efficiency and renewable/sustainable energy sources.
