Chimpex is harboured by the main port of Constanta. Staffed by 240 workers, the port has a throughput of 7 million tons annually.

Also a tank terminal project for Chimpex was put out to tender for construction in the first half of 2010. After the completion of this project, Chimpex attained a chemical fluid stevedoring capacity of 10 million tons annually.

In 2012, the port was sold out to pull out of the market.
